Cotai Starlight is another horse that caught our attention because of the potential she has to progress as the season develops. She is by Cotai Glory, a stallion whose offspring have consistently shown speed and competitiveness across the sprint divisions.

Her dam, Clef, adds further depth to the pedigree and contributes to a profile that suggests she has the tools to develop into a strong performer in the right races.

When selecting horses for the club, we looked carefully for individuals that still have room to improve. Cotai Starlight fits that description perfectly. Horses at this stage of their development often strengthen physically and gain confidence as they race more frequently, and that improvement can build steadily across a campaign.

She is trained by Katie Scott, whose approach to campaigning horses focuses on patience and placement, ensuring they run in races where they can perform to their best.
